✨ Vintage Italian Dining in Chicago | Ciccio Mio 🍷🕯️
Finally scored a reservation at Ciccio Mio! They release tables 21 days in advance on Resy, but slots disappear fast. Our strategy: turn on notifications and book as soon as a good time pops up! Ciccio Mio’s decor is stunningly vintage—walk in to a floor‑to‑ceiling wine wall, soft golden wall lamps, table lights, and candle glow throughout. With oil paintings, framed photos, and carved details covering the walls, I’d call it Chicago’s most beautiful Italian restaurant 🏛️💖 Since I mentioned a birthday in the reservation, we got a cozy corner booth and a sweet handwritten card 💌 🍸 Cocktails: Milano Cosmo & Bella Punch—both lightly sweet and refreshing. 🍞 Complimentary bread with a slight tang, served with olive oil and pickled vegetables. 🥩 Appetizers: Meatballs (beef + pork + veal) in rich tomato sauce—so tasty! Giant Prawn Scampi – 4 butterflied shrimp baked with cheese and butter—charred and fragrant. 🥩 Main: Coal‑Fired Ribeye – No other words: just delicious! 🍮 Dessert: Pavlova – Crisp meringue shell, layered with cream and ice cream, drizzled with berry jam—sweet but not heavy. And because it was a birthday, they brought out a complimentary ice cream with a candle! 🎂 📍 226 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL 60654 💰 ~$50‑100 per person #ChicagoEats #ItalianFood #CiccioMio #VintageVibes #DateNight #ChicagoFoodie #BirthdayDining
