The guide shared fascinating stories about ​​Chicago’s skyscrapers, history, and post-fire rebirth​​—even got this humanities PhD fired up! 🔥 ​​Double-decker boat​​: Started on the ​​open top deck​​ (freezing but epic views 🥶), then moved to the ​​cozy lower deck​​ for selfies. ​​Photo tip​​: ​​Top deck = buildings​​ | ​​Lower deck = you + skyline​​! ​​☕ 2｜World’s Largest Starbucks (5 Floors!)​​ 📍 ​​Starbucks Reserve Roastery​​ – A ​​Chicago landmark​​! ​​Weekend warning​​: Waited ​​30 mins​​ to enter (go on weekdays!). ​​Floor breakdown​​: 1F: Coffee merch 🛍️ 2-3F: Fresh brews + pastries 🥐 4F: ​​Cocktails​​ (!) 🍸 5F: Coffee workshops 👨‍🍳 ​​What we drank​​: 🍵 ​​Matcha Sakura Latte​​ (pink + dreamy) ☕ ​​Sakura Cold Brew​​ (floral kick) 🍫 ​​Artisan Chocolate​​ (richhh) (Too excited to photograph… regret!) ​​🐬 3｜Shedd Aquarium​​ Bigger than expected! Highlights: ​​Dolphin show​​: One cheeky dolphin kept ​​begging for fish​​ 🥺. ​​4D Theater​​: Paid extra for ​​immersive fun​​ (worth it!). ​​Stingray touch pool​​: Felt like ​​slimy mushrooms​​—so weird but cool! ​​💭 Final Thoughts​​ Chicago blends ​​culture + architecture​​ flawlessly.
