🍽️ J Liu of Dublin – American-Chinese Dining in Columbus, OH
I’d tried their takeout before and it was okay, but this dine-in experience was a total disaster — barely edible. 😵 🍤 What We Tried ❤️❤️❤️ Calamari Fritti – $15 A mix of fried calamari, shrimp, broccoli, and peppers. Pretty average — arrived lukewarm with thick, bland batter. Needed sauce to go down. Still, this was the best dish of the night — it’s hard to mess up fried food that badly. ❤️❤️ Crazy Tuna Roll – $16 Avocado and tempura rolled in nori, topped with tuna and mango. Too many conflicting flavors — one of the worse American-style sushi rolls I’ve had. ❤️❤️ Hot & Sour Soup – $8 Tasted fine — similar to Chinese “suan-la tang”. But it was served spilled all over the bowl — the server admitted they spilled it but still brought it out looking like a mess. Unacceptable. 🥣 ❤️ Poke Bowl – $18 I thought, “How bad can a poke bowl be?” Turns out — really bad. The salmon smelled off, and the edamame was spoiled too. Couldn’t take more than one bite. ❤️ Mongolian Beef – $21 My mistake for ordering this. The beef was tough, gamey, and poorly seasoned — even simple stir-fry shouldn’t be this bad. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Blackened Tuna – $29 The only good dish — from a previous takeout order. Well-seasoned, fresh tuna with crab meat. Actually recommendable! ⚠️ Concerning Update The owner tracked me down personally — even though I left no name, number, or personal info — and contacted me via phone and Teams. Pretty invasive and unprofessional for a restaurant to respond that way. 😳 📍 Address: 50 W Bridge St, Dublin, OH 43017 🧼 Restrooms: Not very clean ⏱️ Service: Extremely slow (20 mins for appetizer) and unprofessional #JLiuDublin #ColumbusEats #AmericanChinese #FoodFail #ColumbusFoodie #DublinOH #NotRecommended #PrivacyConcern 🚫📞
