๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Rome Food Exploration | Peruvian Flavors at Salsa y Sabor ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

My friend stumbled upon this Peruvian-style restaurant on the map ๐Ÿด. Salsa y Sabor has a small storefront that's not very Peruvian in decoration, but it really hits the spot in terms of taste, and the portions are so generous that a girl can't finish a plate! We ordered the signature Lomo saltado for 15โ‚ฌ ๐Ÿ’ถ. The beef was tender, and it had a flavor similar to black pepper beef. Even the rice ๐Ÿš was soft, not like the Italian kind that's hard to chew. With the sauce, it was truly out of this world (yyds). Piante de carne for 14โ‚ฌ ๐Ÿ’ถ. The beef and potatoes ๐Ÿฅ” were slightly spicy, and the meat must have been stewed for a long time to be so flavorful. Freshly squeezed ๐Ÿน juices come in many flavors for 8โ‚ฌ ๐Ÿ’ถ. After five years in Italy, this is the first time I've had such a good deal on juice that wasn't watered down too much! Salsa y Sabor for 10โ‚ฌ ๐Ÿ’ถ. For appetizers, we ordered a signature dish: a skewer of beef + two servings of potato salad, and the portion was also very generous. I felt like this could have been a main course! Two girls could have easily shared one dish each, and we ended up with leftovers. They also have seafood and chicken dishes. I'll slowly explore them all and will definitely keep coming back. Haha, it's really that delicious! #RomeFood #Rome #Italy #RomeExploration #EuropeanLife #PeruvianCuisine #PeruvianRestaurant #FoodCheckinChallenge #FoodDiary
