From Umekoji Tenjingawa Station, take the Sanin Line to Kyoto Station, ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ then transfer to the Karasuma Line heading north to Karasuma-Oike Station, and you'll arrive at Shinpukikan. I forget which architectural master's work it is, but it's a renovation of an old postal hall. ๐๏ธ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ The architecture is indeed worth seeing, with stores like Beams, Fossil, and other unnamed clothing shops inside. ๐ โ We had local sweets at a cafรฉ on the first floor and brought back a few bags of coffee beans as souvenirs. ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ The place isn't very large, but it has a fresh and small-town charm. If shopping is the main purpose, the commercial street in Shijo might be more suitable. ๐๏ธ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ ๐ #Japan
