🌴|2 Days in Charleston

- Day 1 📍 Middleton Place One of America’s oldest landscaped gardens, founded in 1741. Beautiful lawns, lakes, oak trees, and camellias—perfect for a sunny day stroll. Student-friendly with half-price tickets and free tours available! 🥣 Pink Bellies We tried the Og Garlic Noodle with pork and chicken. Chicken wins for me! First bite = 🤩 but it gets a bit heavy later. Super Instagrammable vibe though—worth a try. ☕️ Babas on Cannon A cute coffee spot we passed by. Ordered a cappuccino and a peanut milk iced mocha—both delicious! 📍 King Street A shopper’s paradise! Lots of brands and beautiful Southern-style dresses. My wallet cried a little 🛍️ 🍹 The Pineapple Hut Trendy ice cream truck. Got the Pineapple Float—pineapple juice with pineapple soft serve. A bit strong at first, but once the ice cream melted in, it was 👌 📍 Charleston City Market A fun market with unique, handmade items—a bit pricey though. Note: closed between 5-6 PM, so plan ahead! 📍 Pineapple Fountain Small but charming fountain—a Charleston landmark. Sat on a bench by the water at sunset, watching kids play and ships sail by. So peaceful 🌅 Day 2 📍 Cypress Gardens The filming location of The Notebook! Absolutely gorgeous 💖 Entry is only $10 and includes a boat ride. Pro tip: arrive early on weekdays to avoid long waits for boating. 🥣 The Grit Counter Grabbed lunch near our hotel before heading to the airport. Ordered Charleston Hot Chicken and Steak And Egg—decent but nothing special. #HiddenTravelGems #StrollThroughFamousGardens#Charleston #TravelDiary#StudyAbroadDiary #TravelMoments ✈️🌆
