Located in a historic building from 1912 with sweeping views of the Chicago skyline, it feels like a peaceful urban escape 🏙️✨. The restaurant offers a Set Menu + Wine Pairing. The set menu includes 4 courses, but the chef adds extra tastings and a pre-dessert — so you’re constantly being delightfully fed! We celebrated a friend’s birthday and reserved a window table on OpenTable a week ahead. The staff called to ask about the occasion and name — and that personal touch appeared throughout the meal, including a special dessert plate with the birthday name written on it 🎂💖. Highlights: Wine Pairing — Each wine complemented its dish perfectly, especially the dessert wine — balancing acidity and sweetness while harmonizing with the raspberry dessert. Foie Gras with Fennel — Normally not a fennel fan, but here the fennel cake paired wonderfully with the chef’s foie gras preparation, blending the spice beautifully. Sablefish with Corn — Perfectly seared fish, but the stars were the seasoned green beans and pumpkin seeds — adding rich layers to the delicate fish. Service was exceptional — warm, knowledgeable, and respectful.
