Heard a friend rave about Burlington, and since GO Train goes straight there, we just had to go! 🚂 1️⃣ Transit: GO Weekend Day Pass for $10 This pass is so convenient! Hopped on at 12 PM, arrived by 1 PM—no hassle, and the price is unbeatable～ 💰 Budget travelers, rejoice! 2️⃣ Food: Benedict Eatery Brunch Hit Headed straight to this popular Eggs Benedict spot after getting off the train～ 🥚 It was packed when we arrived, but somehow cleared out while we ate—funny how that works! The food was great, and super affordable. Plus, I tried “life-changing fries”—crispy outside, fluffy inside, perfectly seasoned. Total game-changer! 🍟 3️⃣ Photos: Village Square Princess Vibes Wandered around Village Square after eating and realized it’s a photo goldmine! 📸 Cute buildings, flower-lined corners—every spot feels like a fairy tale, instant princess mode activated～ Glanced around and noticed most people were Chinese—guess this is a go-to weekend trip spot. Can’t blame them, it’s lovely! 👭 4️⃣ Cool Down: Lakeshore Ice Cream Save It was scorching, so we ran for ice cream～ 🍦 Tried to go to the cute-looking place next door, but accidentally walked into this one. Oops! 🥹 But it was delicious—rich and creamy. Took a million photos of the ice cream, because why not? 5️⃣ Artsy: Art Gallery of Burlington (Free!) Checked out this free little art gallery～ 🎨 It’s charming, with a tiny garden—nice to wander. Some crafts were stunning, others… let’s just say “unique”. Kept it real! 6️⃣ Small Regret: Missed Lake Activities Wanted to check out the lake—heard there were events—but it was way too hot 💦. Stayed in town for ~4 hours then headed back. More reason to visit again! Overall, super fun and easy!
