So romantic🥹💛 3️⃣ Acropolis Museum Right at the foot of the Acropolis! Displays real artifacts excavated from the site. You can even see ancient ruins under glass floors. Allow at least 2 hours to explore! 4️⃣ Monastiraki A super lively area! Includes Hadrian’s Library, the Ancient Agora, the Stoa of Attalos, and a flea market🛍️. 5️⃣ Stoa of Attalos One of the largest ancient structures besides the Acropolis—and the only fully restored ancient Greek building🏛️! Best visited on a separate day. 6️⃣ Syntagma Square + Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Must-see for the changing of the guard! Soldiers wear traditional uniforms and move in perfect sync. The full ceremony at 11 AM on Sundays is especially impressive🇬🇷. 8️⃣ National Garden Lush, green, and full of birdsong🌿! There’s a pond and a small zoo—perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll. 9️⃣ Panathenaic Stadium The only stadium in the world built entirely of marble! Hosted the first modern Olympic Games⛳. 🔟 Mount Lycabettus We hiked up before sunrise—crazy but worth it😂! Though the cable car wasn’t running yet, the view of Athens at dawn + watching soldiers raise the flag was unforgettable🇬🇷! 🎉 The Chillest Way to Enjoy Athens! 🍸 Attic Urban Rooftop Bar You have to enjoy a drink at a rooftop bar with a view of the Acropolis at night✨.
