🇬🇷 Greece 8-Day Itinerary|Athens + Zakynthos ✨
Spent 8 days exploring just two places – Athens and Zakynthos. For a relaxed trip, less is more! Transportation here isn’t the most convenient. 🩵 Day 1: London ✈️ Athens Dinner at📍Lefteris O Politis (est. 1951) Cheap & delicious! Try their signature grilled meat wrap with fries (€3) and chicken skewers – tastes just like home! 🍢 🩵 Day 2: Acropolis Museum → Acropolis 🏛️ Acropolis Museum: Bought tickets on-site at 9 AM. No student discount, but 50% off for under 25 (passport checked). Acropolis: Pre-booked tickets for 6:00-7:00 PM (avoid the brutal afternoon heat!). City walk around the Acropolis area in the morning – perfect for photos! 📸 Try Greek frappe coffee (must add milk & sugar, or it tastes like medicine 😅). Dinner at📍Karamanlidika Braised beef with fried potatoes – a must-try for Chinese taste buds! 🥘 🩵 Day 3: Athens → Zakynthos 🚌🚢 Bus tickets on ktel-zakynthos.gr (€53 round trip). Ferry tickets on levanteferries.com (€27 round trip). Total travel time: ~5 hours. Scenic ride with the bus boarding the ferry! 🌊 🩵 Day 4: Relax at Zakynthos Hotel 🏊 Stay in town center! Our hotel was in the southeast – isolated from restaurants/entertainment. Supermarkets are pricey, and taxis add up. Rent a scooter/car if staying outside town (scooters ~€20/day). 🩵 Day 5: Banana Beach 🍌 Sunbathe, swim, and sip cocktails! 🍹 Two lounge chairs: €30/day (clean leather seats!). Cocktails: ~€10-15. Clean facilities & showers. Perfect vibe with lots of beauties around! 😎 🩵 Day 6: Shipwreck Beach & Blue Caves Tour 🚤 Booked a 9-hour tour on GetYourGuide – no planning needed! Swim into blue caves & jump off the boat – wear your swimsuit! 🤿 🩵 Day 7: Zakynthos → Athens Return 🚌🚢 🩵 Day 8: Athens City Walk → London ✈️ Visited the Olympic Stadium and bought souvenirs. Drinks at📍The Frogs Bar: Try the frappe cappuccino & ginger lemonade (so good!). The owner is super friendly! 🍋 #GreeceTravel #Zakynthos #Athens #TravelGuide #BeachVibes ✈️🏛️🌊
