🇮🇹|Chicago Volare – Big Portions & Delicious Italian Food 🍝🍕
This restaurant seems like a Chicago staple—I’ve seen many bloggers post about it, and it has quite a fanbase. Decided to check it out and found it’s actually close to home… if it’s good, it could become a regular spot! 🖤 Volare Risotti – Seafood squid ink tomato risotto 🥘 with a creamy touch. Generous ingredients, though it gets a bit salty toward the end, but the flavor is delicious! 🖤 Tartufo Pizza – Thin-crust truffle pizza 🍕. Good amount of truffle, crispy thin base—so tasty! 🖤 Linguine All’ Aragosta – Lobster pasta in tomato sauce 🦞. Loaded with seafood! The pasta is perfectly al dente, and the tomato sauce is tangy, light, and refreshing. 🖤 Grigliata Mista – Grilled seafood platter served over a bed of greens dressed in balsamic and olive oil—crisp and slightly sweet. 🖤 Cannoli – A crispy pastry roll dessert. Not really my taste—the citrus peel flavor felt a bit odd in this combo, but if you like candied peel, you might enjoy it. 📍 Address: 201 E Grand Ave, Chicago Turns out the hype is real—the food is great, and portions are HUGE, almost like Northeast Chinese restaurant-sized! We ordered four dishes + one dessert for two people and ended up taking three boxes home… left totally stuffed. 🥡💕 #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFoodie #LifeInTheUS #StudyAbroad #ItalianFood
