🇮🇹|Local Street Food in Rome
💛Osteria da Fortunata 📍 Corso del Rinascimento, 17 Handmade pasta—you can watch the staff kneading and shaping the pasta right in front of you! It’s quite interesting! We ordered oxtail pasta, tomato and bacon pasta, and some appetizers. The portions were huge✅! 🍕 Pausa Caffè-Lounge 📍 Via di Porta Cavalleggeri, 59. A family-style home kitchen run by a grandma right outside the Vatican City! The grandma👵 handled everything from taking orders to cooking, so the service was a bit slow, but she was incredibly sweet and kept asking if we enjoyed the food! 🧁 Pizzeria Acqua & Farina 📍 Via Principe Amedeo, 90. A small street food joint near Rome’s train station! Though tiny, it was a huge surprise! First, you choose from a variety of pizza types—options like fries with chicken, salmon🍣, and seafood mix. The staff then cuts and heats them for you. 🧊 Gelato: Found everywhere on Rome’s streets! Pricing is based on cone size: small cone🍦 for €3, large cone🍦 for €4! After choosing the cone, you can pick different gelato flavors to mix—up to three scoops per cone! #Rome #Restaurants #Vatican #Pasta
