Catching up on a dinner from a month ago~ Located in the foodie hub of River North, surrounded by trendy spots! While not exactly viral, this restaurant oozes style — vintage and old-money chic 🏛️💼. No wonder the crowd is mostly mature aunties, uncles, and grandparents 👵👴. The three of us shared two appetizers, three mains, two desserts, and their lovely bread basket 🧺! 1️⃣ Grilled Michigan Peaches with Burrata 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Sweet and tangy peaches paired with creamy burrata — what’s not to love? 🍑🧀 2️⃣ Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Dates 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tasted good, but nothing surprising here. 3️⃣ Mushroom Risotto with Chicken 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Delicious risotto! The rice was perfectly cooked (not underdone at all 😌), and the cheese didn’t overpower the mushroom flavor. Chicken was tender too! 🍄🍗 4️⃣ Seafood Pasta 🌟🌟🌟 Meh… not much seafood essence here. 5️⃣ Seafood Platter 🌟🌟🌟 Pretty disappointed — the broth was watery and bland, plus skimpy on seafood 👎. 6️⃣ Tiramisu & Green Apple Sorbet (forgot to snap a pic lol) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Decent but nothing special. The sorbet had a slightly artificial apple taste 🍏. 🍸 Lychee Martini — surprisingly delicious!!
