Illinois → Wisconsin → Indiana → Michigan A weekend chasing Lake Michigan views across four states! 🌅 Day 1️⃣: Chicago → Milwaukee 📍 Milwaukee Public Market – Food & fun 🧀 📍 Harley-Davidson Museum 🏍️ – Motorcycles through the ages 📍 Henry Maier Festival Park – Lighthouse & flower gardens 💐 📍 Milwaukee Art Museum – Wings that open and close 🕊️ 📍 Bradford Beach – Sun, sand & waves 🏖️ Day 2️⃣: Milwaukee → Indiana Dunes → New Buffalo → St. Joseph 📍 The Basilica of Saint Josaphat – Polish-style copper dome church ⛪ 📍 Indiana Dunes NP – Sand dunes meet the lake 🏜️ (Still prefer Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes though!) 📍 New Buffalo Beach – Relaxed vibe 🌊 📍 St. Joseph North Pier Inner Lighthouse – Breathtaking sunset & even caught a beach wedding! 💒👰 Day 3️⃣: St. Joseph → Chicago 📍 University of Chicago 🎓 📍 Magnificent Mile – Visited the 5-story Starbucks Reserve ☕ 📍 Navy Pier – Lake breezes & views 🎡 📍 Millennium Park – Cloud Gate (The Bean!) 🤩 📍 Riverwalk – Night views of downtown Chicago 🌃 Thought I’d be watching sunrise in Yosemite… ended up catching sunsets over Lake Michigan instead.
