πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 3 Days 2 Nights in Chicago – Back Again & Loving It! πŸŒ†

This was my second time visiting Chicago, so I was already familiar with many spots! This trip focused on relaxed city walks and checking out favorites. 🏨 Accommodation: Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile (Highly convenient! Avoid king bed rooms near elevators – they can be noisy.) 🌟 Day 1: Had Haidilao hot pot for lunch 🍲 – $85 for two including tip (Set A). The ice jelly was delightful, and they even had a fun ring toss game! Parking: Used validation at 2222 S. Indiana Street – saved $10 with Haidilao’s coupon. Pre-booked parking via SpotHero πŸš— – 8 mins walk from hotel, $54 for two days. Checked in and walked 5 mins to 360 Chicago. Pre-purchased the observation deck + wine ticket 🍷, and captured stunning rainy night views! πŸŒƒ 🌟 Day 2: Explored Magnificent Mile on a city walk πŸ›οΈ: Visited Harry Winston, Graff, Chanel, the Ralph Lauren flagship store, and the 5-story Starbucks (tried location-exclusive drinks!). Also saw The Bean and the Art Institute πŸ–ΌοΈ. Ended the day at Chicago Theatre – though it was super windy and cold! πŸ’¨ Lunch: Kyuramen x TBaar – The omelet rice was decent (but not as good as Tokyo’s πŸ˜…), and the ramen tasted instant-style but wasn’t too salty. The matcha pudding was rock-hard – not recommended. 🌟 Day 3: Enjoyed the hotel’s breakfast, checked out, and stored our luggage. Bought a 1-day bus pass and took the bus to Navy Pier 🎑 (walkable from the hotel, but we were tired from the previous day! The midday sun was harsh – better for afternoon relaxation 😎). Picked up the car, retrieved our luggage, and headed to Chinatown. Ate at Bing Ge Sichuan in the underground food court – absolutely delicious! Affordable and generous portions. We ordered: Mao Xue Wang (highly recommended for its great value and variety 🌢️) Spicy Chicken and Dry-Fried Intestine (similar flavors; the intestine would be better in a hot pot – the dry version was too dry). #Chicago #ChicagoTravel #ChicagoFood #ChicagoGuide #WindyCity #CityWalk #TravelUSA
