🇺🇸 4-Night Chicago City Walk Experience 🏙️

There’s a ton of Chicago travel content online, but most say the same thing: get a CityPASS, grab a transit day pass, and just walk around. And honestly? It works! Chicago is tourist-friendly and packed with great experiences. 🏨 Where I Stayed: I stayed north of the river – amazing location, super close to the Magnificent Mile and easy to get anywhere. Hotels in Chicago are about twice as expensive as in the suburbs, and I couldn’t find a good Airbnb for groups. Ended up at Hilton Garden Inn. The location was perfect, but… the walls were thin 🚫🔇, water pressure weak 🚿, and noise from downtown at night was wild – windows did nothing! 😴💤 Sleep was rough. Note to self: always check soundproofing next time! 🚌 Getting Around: Everyone says don’t drive – and they’re right! Downtown traffic is bad, parking is crazy expensive ($70-80/day). I got a Ventra Day Pass – super convenient for buses and trains… though I got motion sickness every time 🥴🌀. 🎡 Attractions: Bought the CityPASS on Taobao – half the price! 🎫✨ But each attraction required booking through customer service, which was a bit annoying for last-minute planners. 🚢 Architecture Cruise: Relaxing ride with great views and cool history (these buildings are 100+ years old – impressive!). But after 10 mins of guided tour, my attention was gone. A bit too long 🗣️😴. 🏙️ Skydeck: Lines were no joke – waited from day till dusk. Only 90 seconds per group = more photo rush than view appreciation 📸⏳. 🖼️ Art Institute: They have Van Gogh and Monet, but honestly… as a non-artsy person, I felt lost. Walked 20k steps and left tired 🥱👟. 🔭 Adler Planetarium: (Skipped.) 🏭 Museum of Science and Industry: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 🤩 Speechless. So worth it – affordable ticket, extra exhibits are cheap and mind-blowing. Way better than the art museum! ✅ Final Thoughts: Chicago is awesome! It’s got some rough edges but feels safer and cleaner than New Orleans. If they could help the homelessness situation, it’d be perfect. Best city I’ve visited so far! 💙 #Chicago #USATravel #TravelGuide #ExploreChicago #CityPASS #TravelTips #ChicagoAttractions
