πΊπΈ A Fairytale Town Near Seattle | Leavenworth Travel Guide ποΈβοΈ
This Christmas, I visited one of the most beautiful small towns in the US β Leavenworth! π Driving through snow-covered landscapes while listening to holiday music felt like stepping into a magical winter wonderland. It was almost too dreamy to be real! It was my first time seeing such a big and lively Christmas celebration in North America β the atmosphere was absolutely enchanting! π β¨ Compared to other holiday destinations where flights and accommodations can be 2-3 times more expensive, Leavenworth offers great value for money. π¨ Accommodation: We stayed in the town of Wenatchee, about 25 minutes from Leavenworth. The town has plenty of dining options and our stay was very affordable β 2 nights from Dec 25-27 for CA$310, including breakfast and free parking! π Transportation: Drove our Tesla from Vancouver, charged to 100% at home. There's a Supercharger near McDonald's in Leavenworth for convenient charging. π Internet: Used Redteago eSIM for $5.5 USD (3GB/30 days). No signal in the mountains, but we used Starlink in the car for satellite internet the whole way! π½οΈ Food: Tried Wok About Mongolian Grill in Leavenworth β similar to Whistler's style. It's a build-your-own stir-fry place where they weigh your ingredients before adding sauce. πΏ Activities: Families with kids π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ should bring toboggan sleds β there's a great slope for sliding! Don't miss the Nutcracker Museum, Whistlepunk Ice Cream, and the stunning reindeer displays at Kris Kringl's windows. Walk to the end of the street for beautiful miniature scenes β so much to explore! #Leavenworth #GermanVillage #ChristmasGetaway #NorthAmericanChristmas #SeattleChristmas #HolidayVibes #VancouverChristmas #NewYearTrip
