🫗 Bar Mar by José Andrés 📍 120 N Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606 As a huge fan of Spanish cuisine, this place offers a creative fusion of Spanish flavors with a focus on seafood — and it’s opened by the acclaimed Spanish Michelin-starred chef José Andrés himself! 🧑‍🍳🌟 The atmosphere is perfect for dates: a stunning giant octopus installation, high vaulted ceilings, and moody amber-dark lighting 🐙💡. We ordered blindly and everything was impressive — no disappointments! 🫶 Must-orders: Neptune’s Pillows – Tuna tartare cubes packed with flavor, and they even have crab inside! So satisfying. Classic Ceviche – Salmon and tuna ceviche with a tangy, slightly spicy kick — I loved it! 🍣🍋🌶️ Charred baby octopus – Delicious! Their signature starter: Caviar & crab hand roll with edible gold leaf — crispy and luxurious 🥢✨. For dessert, we tried two: Flan – So jiggly and smooth, perfect for pudding lovers.
