📍 Oiistar, 1385 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622, United States Was wandering around Wicker Park and felt like having Asian food — found this highly rated ramen spot and decided to try it.😍👍 The ramen itself was decent, and the soft-boiled egg was okay — though not cut in half, and the flavor wasn’t quite as rich as the eggs from top-tier ramen joints, but the yolk texture was on point. The chashu (pork belly) was way too heavy — super thick and extremely greasy 😅. Felt 100 times richer than eating fried chicken or a burger! We also ordered shrimp bao — the pickled veggies on top were the standout, really helped cut through the richness, especially with that heavy ramen. Suddenly feeling like Manchester actually has great food — pastries are good, Asian food is good… Maybe I was just being too picky before 😂. #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFood #ChicagoTravel #ChicagoEats #RamenReview
