🇺🇸 Chicago — 【MAMA DELIA】Spanish Cuisine 🥘
MAMA DELIA is a Michelin-recommended restaurant (no star). 🥚 Tortilla Vaga de Gambas Al Ajillo Head-on Shrimp, Lazy Omelette, Crispy Potatoes At first, I was excited seeing shrimp and tortilla on the menu… but when the dish arrived and I uncovered the first shrimp, I was speechless 😶. Honestly, what kind of Spanish tortilla is made with eggs topped with potato chips? If a Spaniard saw this, they’d probably flip the coffin lid on American cuisine 💀. 🥘 Arroz de Tuétano Dry Aged Beef, Bone Marrow, Mushrooms & Zucchini Bone marrow rice with zucchini 🍚. The only downside — the bone marrow was served cold. But mixed with hot, steamy rice, it was so delicious I’m drooling just thinking about it 🤤. 🍡 Croquetas de Setas Mushrooms & Spinach, Truffle Aioli Standard croquettes — fine but nothing extraordinary. 🥖 Pan de Cristal con Tomate Fresh Tomato, Garlic The tomato and raw garlic flavors were way too strong, overpowering the delicate garlic aroma typical in Spanish versions. However, the baguette was crispy and the olive oil was fragrant 👍. #Chicago #ChicagoLife #SpanishFoodChicago #MichelinRecommended #ChicagoEats
