🇺🇸 Chicago One-Day Itinerary
A city that literally made me shiver! 🥶 If you’re visiting in March or April, bring warm clothes – it’s chilly! Note: The Art Institute is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Most must-see spots in Chicago are close together. If you stay downtown, it's super walkable. I split this into two relaxed days due to work fatigue and safety at night, but you can easily do it in one full day! 🚶 Day 1️⃣: Shameless Filming Location 🏚️ Drove 20 mins from downtown to see the iconic Gallagher house! Lake Michigan & North Avenue Beach 🏖️ Frank’s famous spot – perfect for photos even when it’s cold! Lincoln Park 🌳 10-min drive. The zoo and conservatory are great for relaxing. Headed back to the hotel by 7 PM for an early night 💤 Day 2️⃣: Millennium Park 🫘 10-min drive. Saw “The Bean” – apparently it showcases modern American craftsmanship! Chicago Riverwalk 🌉 Walked along the river – peaceful and pretty. World’s Largest Starbucks ☕️ 5 floors of coffee, baking, cocktails, and desserts! Chilled here before heading to the airport. 💕 Solo travel-friendly! Daytime Chicago is safe and easy to explore alone. Just dress warmly 😉 #Chicago #ChicagoInADay #ChicagoTravel #MillenniumPark #LakeMichigan #BusinessTrip #WorkDiary #SoloTravel
