🇺🇸 Chicago Random Thoughts 🌆✨
I realized I don’t really like steel-and-glass skyscrapers in plain daylight… But I love them in the soft orange glow of sunrise 🧡, under the warm sunset 🌇, or sparkling with city lights at night 🌃. Not sure why — maybe it’s the magic of light? I now officially declare Monet my favorite artist! 🎨 His use of color and light feels so beautiful, healing, and peaceful to me 🥰💫 On the Chicago River, I saw so many people partying on boats 🎉🚤 It made me tell my girls: “Let’s hustle now so we can be old-money vibes together later!” 💸✨ At the art museum, we saw this crazy realistic horse statue… Turns out it was a TAXIDERMY specimen 😱🦷👀 Teeth, eyes… so lifelike it was low-key creepy! At 360 Chicago, I met the cutest little baby 👶💖 They (not sure if boy or girl) smiled at me, reached out, held my hand, then shyly buried their face in mom’s arms 🥹❤️ My heart melted… Next time I won’t hesitate to hold a baby! Also saw a live rock band on the street — with a grandpa-aged man totally rocking out! 🤘🎸 So cool!! Checked off Lake Michigan — my first Great Lake! ✅🌊 And right when I arrived, I stumbled upon a live TV broadcast 📺🎥 So cool and random! #Chicago #TravelDiary #ArtInstitute #USATravel #StudyAbroad #CityVibes #Monet #GreatLakes #StreetMusic
