🇺🇸 Chicago Travel Guide | 4 Days & 3 Nights in the Windy City
Getting a CityPASS 🎟️ is highly recommended—it covers major attractions at a great value! It includes Shedd Aquarium and Skydeck Chicago (required), plus your choice of 3 out of 5 other popular spots. 🚌 Public transport in Chicago is convenient and efficient. Grab a 1-Day Pass on the Ventra app – just tap your phone to ride! Day 1️⃣ Arrived in Chicago in the afternoon ✈️ ➡️ Took the Blue Line to the hotel to drop off luggage 🧳 ➡️ Explored the Magnificent Mile – great for shopping and vibes 🛍️ ➡️ Architecture River Cruise by Shoreline Sightseeing 🚢 (We boarded at Michigan Ave; the tour takes 1 hour with great commentary!) ➡️ Visited the Starbucks Reserve Roastery 🌃☕ in the evening – less crowded and gorgeous for photos at night! Day 2️⃣ ➡️ Cloud Gate (The Bean!) – best early to avoid crowds 📸 ➡️ The Art Institute of Chicago 🖼️ – spent a full afternoon here 🎨 ➡️ Skydeck Chicago at sunset 🌇 – CityPASS includes Premium Admission = less wait for epic views! Day 3️⃣ ➡️ Shedd Aquarium 🐠 – a mid-sized aquarium; allow ~2 hours ➡️ Field Museum 🦖 – dinosaur lovers, don’t miss “SUE,” the world’s most complete T. rex! ➡️ Navy Pier in the afternoon 🎡 – cute souvenir magnets + better vibe later in the day! (We went too early – everything was closed and FREEZING 😂) Day 4️⃣ ➡️ Lincoln Park Zoo 🦁 – free entry and surrounded by skyscrapers! A must if you have time. 📌 Pro Tips: 1️⃣ Stayed near Magnificent Mile – super convenient location 🏨 2️⃣ Some CityPASS attractions require advance reservations ⏰ – but you can reschedule if needed 3️⃣ The 1-Day transit pass expires 24 hours after first use 🚇. Buses feel safer than trains at night! 4️⃣ Chicago is WINDY 💨 – flights get delayed often. Check the weather! #TravelGuide #Chicago #ChicagoItinerary #VisitChicago #USATravel #CityPASS
