๐บ๐ธ Florida | Gainesville | Caribbean Cuisine at Bahama Breeze ๐ด๐น
During my time in Gainesville, I tried the popular U.S. chain Bahama Breeze โ known for its vibrant Caribbean flavors and tropical vibes! ๐๏ธ Founded in 1996 by Darden Restaurants (the same group behind Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Red Lobster), Bahama Breeze now has 41 locations across 15 states including Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Seattle. This was my first time visiting, and I was impressed! The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decoratedโyou feel like youโre on vacation as soon as you step in ๐ถ๐. We went during Happy Hour, which meant discounted drinks and half-priced appetizers โ great deal! ๐โจ Hereโs what we tried: ๐ค Coconut Shrimp โ $11.99 (regular price) Crispy shrimp coated with coconut flakes, served with a tangy orange-mustard sauce. Refreshing and not greasy! ๐ฅ Crab and Avocado Stack โ $15.49 (regular price) My favorite! ๐ฅฐ Generous portions of crab and shrimp layered with avocado, cucumber, and tomato. Light and delicious. During Happy Hour itโs under $8 โ totally worth it! ๐ Baby Back Ribs โ $23.49 Full rack of ribs, but less meat than it looked. Pretty averageโa bit dry and underwhelming. Maybe skip this one. ๐น Bahamarita โ $9.49 (regular price) As pretty as it looks! The cup is filled with a frozen blend of kiwi, strawberry, mango, and cactus juice ๐ฅ๐๐ฅญ, and it comes with a side shot of tequila. You can add as much or as little as you like. I added just a splash and enjoyed it like a boozy smoothie ๐ Overall: With over 4.1โญ ratings on Google across the U.S., Iโd say Bahama Breeze lives up to the hype! Great atmosphere, solid food, and perfect for family or friends gathering. ๐ HAPPY HOUR: MonโFri, 4โ6 PM ๐ Bahama Breeze โ Gainesville #Florida #Gainesville #UF #CaribbeanFood #HappyHour #FoodReview #BahamaBreeze #TropicalVibes #Foodie
