🇺🇸🏨 Highly Recommend: Hyatt Regency Chicago

Just had my first stay as a Globalist at Hyatt Regency Chicago and WOW — totally blown away! The service was amazing and they’re incredibly generous to Globalists. Honestly one of the best Globalist experiences I’ve had in North America! ➡️ Globalist Perks They’re super generous with upgrades! I saw I got a lake view room in the app, so I emailed asking about a river view suite… and they replied instantly upgrading me! 📧 Got a welcome email detailing all the Globalist benefits — so professional! Day 1: Upgraded to a Junior Suite (around 50 sqm) with river view — nice but small bathroom. Day 2: Asked front desk if I could switch to a suite with a bigger bathroom but similar size. Not only did they say yes — they gave me the massive 93 sqm Millennium Suite! It had a living room connected to a bedroom, two bathrooms, stunning river views from the 34th floor… absolutely incredible! 🏙️💫 🍳 Breakfast is served at the 1st-floor restaurant — and get this: NO LIMITS! Unlike most hotels that restrict you to one entrée + drinks or a buffet, they said “Order anything you want for up to 4 people!” 😱 Buffet and à la carte available — both delicious! 🥂 The Club Lounge on the 35th floor allows up to 4 guests (they don’t really check). It’s pretty small and the evening snacks are limited (but honestly, for the U.S., it’s decent!). 💳 Although the $25 destination fee is waived for Globalists, you still get a $25 credit usable after 5 PM daily at their restaurants and bars! ➡️ Location Right in downtown by the river — steps away from the River Walk! 🚶‍♂️🌊 Walking distance to many attractions. Lots of bus stops nearby, and the subway isn’t far either. Probably the best-located Hyatt in Chicago! ➡️ Service Every staff member was genuinely friendly and helpful! When I had an issue (woke up to an alarm two days in a row 😴), they not only apologized with handwritten notes and vouchers — but the second time, they called to apologize and gave me a $50 credit! After checkout, the manager even sent a follow-up email. Seriously, the best service I’ve experienced in the U.S. or Europe! 🙌 The hotel recently went through a $150 million renovation — everything feels fresh and modern! I’ve stayed at multiple Hyatts in Chicago, and this one is now my top choice.
