Stopped by here for a quick bite. The service was really fast and we were greeted and seated almost immediately.
The place has nothing special to it decor-wise. Wouldn't say it's a fancy place or anything. Most of the other patrons seemed to be college students. I was there with some old college friends and family. Great atmosphere to just catch up over food.
The menu seemed to have more authentic Chinese food rather than focus on the Americanized things like Crab ragoons and orange chicken. They had bull frogs, duck, and other options. Very nice selection. And very fairly priced.
I had the Mongolian beef. We also got country style pork and beef fried rice. All were generously portioned enough to share. The food tasted great and I will definitely be going back.
Overall If you're looking for good Chinese food location, this is a great spot. Beware their food isn't exactly like the typical Chinese-American restaurant (but they do have those options too). Not a place that would impress a date on the first night. But definitely would be great to go with friends. Only down side was we never got...
Read moreGreat service and hot pot experience with friends. We booked a table for 14 and service was very accommodating since we made reservations. Half of our guest had never had hot pot before, but became big fans by the end of the night. We got the pots that were half spicy and half not spicy. The spicy soup is Asian spicy but should be expected when the restaurant is named after Sichuan. The non spicy soup is still flavorful and good. Sauces are provided in a buffet style table to the side with green onions, oyster sauce, sesame sauce, chili oil and more. We got a beef and pork order with udon noodles for our soups. Everything tasted great and the overall experience was great with wonderful friends and...
Read moreFor Asian-American fare, I was pleased. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch. The breading wasn't overwhelming, the chicken ratio wasn't disappointing, and the sauce met expectations for consistency and flavor. It didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty. It included fried rice and vegetables. I was surprised an egg roll was added. I was too full to eat it, however. Food was plenty. I did not check on the quality of the ingredients or whether this restaurant uses MSG, artificial colors or flavors, emulsifiers, preservatives, GMOs, or anything else. I'm judging strictly from presentation, quantity, relative freshness, and flavor, and what you would expect for standard...
