๐บ๐ธ Montereyโs Cannery Row โ Such a Fun Coastal Town to Explore!
I never miss a visit to Cannery Row whenever Iโm in Monterey. This street connects the wharf to the aquarium and is lined with all kinds of restaurants and unique little shops โ so much to see! ๐๏ธ๐ ๐ Wave Street Cafe This brunch spot has a diverse menu. We tried their signature Crispy Calamari Steak & Eggs and the New York Steak & Eggs โ both were delicious! ๐ณ๐ฆ A special shout-out to their toast, which comes with a small jar of homemade blueberry jam. It was refreshingly sweet and made with whole blueberries โ absolutely mind-blowing! ๐ I liked it so much I asked if they sold itโฆ and they do! $8 a jar ๐ซ โ I brought one home and already used it for breakfast today. Their outdoor seating faces the ocean โ highly recommend waiting for a spot outside if you have time! ๐โ๏ธ ๐ Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I first discovered this place in Denver and brought back souvenirs โ was surprised to find one in Monterey too! ๐ซ My pup loves their โchocolateโ dog biscuits (donโt worry, itโs carob!), so I had to restock. They even had a special Christmas โDog Nogโ โ so cute! ๐ถ๐ ๐ LOLA Monterey This souvenir shop feels classy as soon as you step in. They have a whole wall of fridge magnets ๐งฒ, plus high-quality decorations and greeting cards. But what really stole my heart were their sea otter slippers! ๐ฆฆ๐ฅฟ So fluffy, soft, and cute โ with a sturdy non-slip sole. Couldnโt resist taking a pair home to keep me cozy this winter! โ๏ธ ๐ Pacific Pet Treats Weโre regulars here โ always pick up some treats for my dog. She loves the cod fish skin and salmon chips! ๐ All their treats are made fresh in-store with no additives. The kitchen is open, clean, and spacious. ๐ Itโs about a 20-minute walk from the wharf to Cannery Row with ocean views all along the way. Last weekend was foggy โ gave the sea a rare, melancholic beauty. Still special! โ๏ธ๐ซ๏ธ #Monterey #WeekendGetaway #CaliforniaTravel #MontereyGuide #CoastalTown #Highway1 #BayAreaEats #MontereyBay
