🇺🇸 Monterey’s Cannery Row — Such a Fun Coastal Town to Explore!
I never miss a visit to Cannery Row whenever I’m in Monterey. This street connects the wharf to the aquarium and is lined with all kinds of restaurants and unique little shops — so much to see! 🛍️🌊 📍 Wave Street Cafe This brunch spot has a diverse menu. We tried their signature Crispy Calamari Steak & Eggs and the New York Steak & Eggs — both were delicious! 🍳🦑 A special shout-out to their toast, which comes with a small jar of homemade blueberry jam. It was refreshingly sweet and made with whole blueberries — absolutely mind-blowing! 😍 I liked it so much I asked if they sold it… and they do! $8 a jar 🫙 — I brought one home and already used it for breakfast today. Their outdoor seating faces the ocean — highly recommend waiting for a spot outside if you have time! 🌊☀️ 📍 Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I first discovered this place in Denver and brought back souvenirs — was surprised to find one in Monterey too! 🍫 My pup loves their “chocolate” dog biscuits (don’t worry, it’s carob!), so I had to restock. They even had a special Christmas “Dog Nog” — so cute! 🐶🎄 📍 LOLA Monterey This souvenir shop feels classy as soon as you step in. They have a whole wall of fridge magnets 🧲, plus high-quality decorations and greeting cards. But what really stole my heart were their sea otter slippers! 🦦🥿 So fluffy, soft, and cute — with a sturdy non-slip sole. Couldn’t resist taking a pair home to keep me cozy this winter! ❄️ 📍 Pacific Pet Treats We’re regulars here — always pick up some treats for my dog. She loves the cod fish skin and salmon chips! 🐟 All their treats are made fresh in-store with no additives. The kitchen is open, clean, and spacious. 🌊 It’s about a 20-minute walk from the wharf to Cannery Row with ocean views all along the way. Last weekend was foggy — gave the sea a rare, melancholic beauty. Still special! ☁️🌫️ #Monterey #WeekendGetaway #CaliforniaTravel #MontereyGuide #CoastalTown #Highway1 #BayAreaEats #MontereyBay
