Located right by the water, Schooners offers beautiful views from the window — especially relaxing when the sun is out ☀️. Specializing in seafood, the menu is diverse with both classic and unique flavors. Lunch and dinner menus differ slightly, and their wine selection is also highly recommended! 🍷 1️⃣ The Kayak 🌟🌟🌟 Not my top pick — the shrimp and crab were good, but the oysters weren’t as fresh as other places, and the mussels were just average. 2️⃣ Mussels 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Large portion and great value! Cooked Thai-style with a rich coconut flavor — definitely worth trying 🥥. 3️⃣ Cioppino 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The tomato-based broth was perfectly seasoned 👌, loaded with a variety of seafood including thick, tender salmon. I was full just from drinking the soup! 🍲 Though it’s a popular spot and not exactly cheap, Schooners still offers good value given its prime location and quality. It’s one of Monterey’s better waterfront dining experiences! ☕ P.S.
