๐บ๐ธ My Absolute Favorite Hotel in Monterey โ Highly Recommended!
Seven Gables Inn ๐ก๐ This is a wooden cottage complex built in 1886. Iโve always loved hotels with a sense of history, especially wooden houses โ and this one totally stole my heart! On road trips, we always prefer staying at unique local hotels or Airbnbs. It helps us blend into the local vibe and truly experience life there. The three of us stayed in a full two-bedroom suite. One bedroom upstairs with an ocean view โ absolutely breathtaking! ๐๐ โ and another downstairs. Thereโs a cozy living room with a fireplace. We turned it on at night, sipped wine, and chatted about everything under the sun ๐ท๐ฅ. They say life is made of moments โ and this was definitely one of them. Early in the morning while the others were still asleep, I went for a walk along the coast. Loverโs Point is right nearby ๐ . I passed locals who smiled and said โGood morning!โ The mist rising over the ocean made it look like a fairy tale. When I got back, I sat in the sunroom in the reception area and read a book, soaking up the winter sunlight ๐โ๏ธ. Around 9 AM, we headed to the hotelโs dining room for breakfast. We sat by the window and โ guess what? โ we even spotted a whale spouting in the distance! ๐ณ๐ฒ Another lifelong memory: watching whales while having breakfast. It was on this day that I truly fell in love with Monterey ๐. Iโve always believed that where you stay during a trip greatly influences how you feel about a city and how much you enjoy the journey. Thatโs why when I plan trips for my clients, choosing the right hotel is the most time-consuming part โ but worth it. Almost every time, my clients tell me, โThe hotel was perfect. You can always trust Nicoleโs taste.โ ๐ #TravelMoments #Monterey #Highway1 #HotelRecommendation #MontereyHotels
