🇺🇸 Oklahoma 6-Day 5-Night Travel Guide

First time in OKC — way more fun than I expected, especially the museums! 🏛️✨ We arrived in OKC on the 22nd. The airport is pretty small, and most flights require a connection. On the 23rd, we drove from OKC to Dallas 🚗💨. The trip took about 3 hours one way—doable as a day round-trip. Dallas has tons of great food, including some solid Chinese restaurants! 🥢🍜 On the 24th, we visited the Oklahoma City Museum of Art 🎨 and wandered around downtown. The city felt pretty empty and a bit quiet—maybe not the safest vibe though? For lunch, we ate at a lakeside restaurant by Lake Hefner — the view was amazing! 🌊😍 Perfect for a walk by the water after eating. On the 25th, we tried a Cantonese spot in Chinatown. OKC’s Chinatown is super small, but you can find hotpot 🍲, boba tea 🧋, Sichuan food, and Asian supermarkets! The 26th was all about the Cowboy Museum — so fun! 🤠🐎 Definitely a must if you're into cowboy culture, Western history, or Native American exhibits. We also stopped by the State Capitol and the OKC National Memorial 🕊️. On the 27th, we flew out from Dallas to Las Vegas! ✈️🎰 Overall, OKC was more interesting than I thought, but compared to other U.S. cities, it’s still pretty quiet — some say it’s “in the middle of nowhere” 🗺️🤷. I’ve seen people onsay it’s good for retirement — but I disagree. The weather can be pretty harsh! 🌪️❄️🔥 Still, if you’re road-tripping along Route 66 🛣️, it’s worth a stop for a day or two! #HiddenUrbanGems #WanderAndCapture #Cityscapes #Oklahoma #TravelSnaps
