🇺🇸 OSU Columbus Min-ga｜A Must-Try for Korean Food Lovers‼️

Finally got to visit Min-ga again after returning—another Columbus Korean restaurant I couldn’t stop thinking about while abroad! The staff are all Korean, and you can see Korean aunties cooking in the open kitchen 🍳👩‍🍳. The restaurant is clean and filled with Korean decor. It’s always been popular, but this time it felt even livelier! My friends and I arrived at 7 PM and waited nearly 15 minutes to be seated 😭. Lots of Koreans dine here too, which speaks to its authenticity 👍😎. ▪️ Soon Dae (Blood Sausage) & Korean Roll (Kimbap) ‼️‼️ The blood sausage is soft and chewy—the casing bursts with each bite! I prefer it plain to savor the original flavor 😌. The kimbap is amazing—stuffed with crab stick, pickled radish, cucumber, and more. A must-order every time 💗🤤. Carb lovers, just go for it! ▪️ LA Kalbi & Jajangmyeon (Black Bean Noodles) The Korean-style short ribs are super fragrant, well-seasoned, and nicely balanced between lean and fatty. The portion is decent—enough for three. A staple at Min-ga! Meat lovers, you can’t go wrong here ‼️🤩. The black bean noodles were okay but not as good as the ones I’ve had at Diaspora. ▪️ Pork Feet This is a limited-time dish—ask the server if it’s available! The flavor is great, but since I don’t eat pork knuckle, I’ll leave the detailed review to others. My pork-loving friend said it was delicious though 👌🥰. ▪️ Small Dishes (Banchan) Min-ga has the best banchan in Columbus! Small portions, but every dish is tasty 😋. You can ask for refills if you want more 🫡. My favorite is the spicy cucumber salad 🥒. ▪️ Tiger Sugar 🧋 Just a 5-minute walk from Min-ga 🚶! Tried the Tiger Matcha Latte for the first time—so good 😭😇. If you’re tired of the classic brown sugar, you have to try the matcha version 🍵.
