🇺🇸 Pacific Coast Highway 🛣️|Gorgeous Town: Monterey 🌊
We set off from SF on a road trip, passing through Silicon Valley and Stanford, and finally arrived at our first stop along the legendary Highway 1 — the beautiful town of Monterey. The views along the way were absolutely breathtaking! 📍 17-Mile Drive Heart-stopping sapphire-blue waves 🌊 and stunning coastal scenery. 🎫 $12 entry fee per vehicle. Recommended to enter from the Pacific Grove Gate and exit via the Carmel Gate — which leads directly to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Must-see spots inside: The Restless Sea 📸 (A very photogenic rocky shore) Bird Rock 🐦 (A large rock covered with birds and seals) Fanshell Beach 🏖️ (A accessible beach with unbelievably blue water) The Lone Cypress 🌳 (Iconic tree on a cliffside path — super insta-worthy!) 📍 Lovers Point Park A incredibly beautiful park with unbelievably blue water — perfect for photos! Lots of people sunbathing, hiking, and surfing here. 🐿️ So many cute squirrels — and they’re not afraid of humans! The elegant lone cypress tree stands proudly with a unique shape 🌳💚 📍 Old Fisherman's Wharf Dopamine-style colorful houses 🎨 — super cute and cheerful! I really loved Monterey — such a relaxing and perfect getaway. It’s only about 20 minutes from Carmel-by-the-Sea. Carmel felt a bit more commercial and touristy — personally, it wasn’t really my vibe. #WestCoastRoadTrip #PacificCoastHighway #Monterey #CaliforniaTravel
