🥣We spent a pleasant time at Patio Del Nispero, located within the El Convento Hotel. Tucked away in the courtyard of a historic building, the restaurant offers a tranquil atmosphere. ✨Our server, Andrea, was friendly and helpful. She recommended the shrimp mofongo, which was authentic in flavor—the shrimp were fresh and paired with smooth, well-mashed plantains. She also shared suggestions on nearby places to visit, such as the San Juan Cathedral, just a short walk away. 🍋The service was efficient. We were greeted promptly after being seated, and our dishes arrived within about fifteen minutes of ordering. 🌈In addition to the main course, the black beans and rice served as a side were cooked to just the right texture. 🍷The price was reasonable, around $20 per person, which is fairly standard for a tourist area. If you sit on the eastern side of the courtyard in the afternoon, you can enjoy the sunlight filtering through the banyan trees.
