A Cozy Brunch Hidden in a Little House

🍹Tucked away in an unassuming little house in Boulder, the warm and inviting River and Woods is easy to miss unless you're specifically looking for it. 🍹 But as you push the door open, you find a world of charm inside: warm yellow light spills over wooden tables and chairs, the aroma of baking wafts from the kitchen, and every table is adorned with seasonal wildflowers. On weekend noon, the place is always packed, and we were lucky to get a table by the window. 🌈The server kindly recommended the seasonal specialties. The breakfast salad I ordered was a delightful surprise—fresh spinach as the base, 🌈topped with sweet and tender roasted pumpkin chunks, all dressed in a house-made honey vinaigrette. My friend’s freshly baked cheese scone arrived warm and steaming, 💛pulled apart to reveal stretchy, rich yet not overly heavy cheddar.
