🚂 A Day Trip from Boston: Rockport

🚂 A Day Trip from Boston: Rockport Boston summers are incredibly precious! Make sure to visit Rockport on a weekend! The drive is about an hour. Parking: Park at the town's free parking lot 🅿️ (Blue Gate Meadow Parking Lot). You can take a shuttle to the town center and the beach for $1 per person — very convenient. Shopping: The town's Main Street is lined with many adorable shops and art galleries. The storefront decorations are very European in style, perfect for a leisurely stroll. For Kids: Families with children can head to Front Beach to dig in the sand and hunt for periwinkles 😀. The beach also has lifeguards on duty for safety. Food Recommendation: I went to Ray Moore after seeing recommendations on Xiaohongshu. The sea-water boiled lobsters were indeed $50 for 3, and they were quite large. However, the dining environment is not quite as idyllic as described — you're not exactly "eating lobster while enjoying the sea breeze" 🤣. The back deck is very small and doesn't actually face the ocean; instead, it overlooks a small pond! That said, to be fair, the lobster tasted excellent — much fresher and with a better chew than those sold at Market Basket! Even just dipped in butter, it was delicious 😋. Rockport isn't a particularly popular or crowded spot. It comes highly recommended if you want to avoid big crowds! #Lobster#Boston#DayTrip#FamilyFriendly#Foodie#Fashion#OutdoorPhotography
