A Hidden Gem Museum on UW Campus – Burke Museum 🏛️✨

📍 Located right on the University of Washington campus—easy to walk to! The museum has three floors (plus a basement with a huge dinosaur! 🦕), each with different themes: • First Floor: Indigenous cultural exhibits 🌿 • Second Floor: Animal and marine life specimens 🐠🐾 • Third Floor: Dinosaur fossils, prehistoric creatures, and an active archaeology lab! 🦖🔍 My personal favorite is the second floor—filled with animal models, especially birds 🪶, insects 🐜, and marine life 🐻❄️, all with detailed descriptions. Plus, there are see-through labs 🔬 where you can watch researchers preparing and studying specimens through the glass! So cool! Lots of interactive exhibits for kids 🤲—they can observe and even touch some specimens. Dinosaur lovers will find plenty to explore 🦖💾, and there’s a café on the first floor ☕ and craft rest areas on each level for when you need a break. Overall, it’s a great spot to learn about natural history and culture—whether you’re into dinosaurs, animal taxidermy 🦌🦉, or cultural artifacts! 🎫 Ticket Info: • First Thursday of every month: FREE 🆓 • UW students: Free with ID • Other students: $16 (bring student ID) • General admission: $24 Have you visited the Burke Museum?
