A Hot Summer Weekend with Kids - 2 Days & 2 Nights in Sudbury

A Hot Summer Weekend with Kids - 2 Days & 2 Nights in Sudbury It was truly a spontaneous trip! We decided to go on Friday morning, quickly gathered friends, booked a hotel, refueled the car, and packed luggage in the afternoon. We set off right after dinner 🚗! The drive took 3 hours, but halfway through, we realized we’d forgotten to bring a jacket for my little brother, so we got off the highway to buy one at Walmart 🧥. We arrived at the hotel around 11 PM and didn’t get to bed until almost midnight 😴. The full package we bought was a great deal, including five activities: two science museums (Science North, Dynamic Earth), a mine tour, and two movies 🎬. Personally, I think it was totally worth it—all the included activities were worthwhile! On Saturday morning, we went to Science North. It opens at 10 AM, but the tickets said 9 AM, so we couldn’t get in early ⏰. We booked an IMAX movie in the morning and a planetarium show in the afternoon 🌌. The older kids were glued to it, while the younger ones needed translations. On Sunday, we visited Dynamic Earth, and the mine tour was especially amazing ⛏️! The gold panning was also addictive—we couldn’t stop digging ✨. This trip was really worth it! Going spontaneously and avoiding the long weekend meant the hotel price was great too—Days Inn was only around $100 a night 💰. ⚠️ Remember to bring a hoody! It’s only around 10 degrees in the mine tunnels, so you definitely need a jacket~ #3Days2Nights#FamilyFriendlySpots#WhereToTakeKids#ExhibitsWithKids#ScienceMuseumWithKids#OntarioScienceMuseum#sudbury#Sudbury#CanadaFamilyGuide
