A Post-Work Treat|Exploring Tanta 🍹
Yesterday evening, the weather and sunlight were just perfect. After wrapping up work, I suddenly craved a good meal — so I headed to Tanta downtown, a little comfort for this tired working soul. 🇵🇪 The Vibe & Concept Tanta is a Peruvian fusion restaurant blending traditional Peruvian cuisine with Japanese (Nikkei), Chinese (Chifa), and Spanish influences. 🚪 Atmosphere on point Walking in, I was instantly drawn to the warm lighting and colorful murals — full of exotic charm. Service was thoughtful too — the hostess took my number just in case I left something behind. Nice touch! 🍹 Creative Cocktail | Flaming Lips Tanta’s drink menu is impressive, with fun cocktail names. I ordered the Flaming Lips — made with pineapple rum, three-star rum, citrus liqueur, ginger, passion fruit, habanero, and lime. Sweet, tangy, with a hint of spice — layers of flavor in every sip. Served in a stunning peacock-themed glass 🦚✨. 🍣 Sushi & Signature Fried Rice — Flavor Explosion! I couldn’t resist the Nigiri Trio Tasting (three different nigiri styles) — each piece was heavenly! Then came Tanta’s star dish — Chaufa Aeropuerto, a wok-fired fried rice packed with char siu pork, veggies, shrimp omelet, sesame, and sweet chili sauce. Irresistibly fragrant! 🌙 Perfect Ending After a satisfying meal, I stopped by a liquor store for a bottle of blue curaçao, then strolled home in the evening breeze — suddenly feeling like summer had arrived.
