A Surprising Houston Brunch Find: Snooze, A.M.
🌟🌟My friend had to change our plans last minute. We originally planned to meet at 11 a.m., but we finally met at 2 p.m. Since we were both starving, we decided to find a nearby brunch spot and ended up at Snooze, A.M. I’d seen it recommended before but never had the chance to try it—until today.🌟🌟 🍞🍞They close at 2:30 p.m., and we got there at 1:59 p.m. The kitchen was kind enough to take our order, which we really appreciated. I ordered fried rice, and it was amazing—both in taste and presentation. It was so delicious that I was savoring it for days afterward. I didn’t take photos of anything else, but trust me, the fried rice was incredible. The place is also a bar at night, so I’ll definitely come back for some drinks in the evening.🍞🍞 🍖The only downside is that everything on the menu is super high in calories. This small portion of fried rice had 990 calories—it was shocking. My friend ordered the Pork Belly Benny, which was almost 1,400 calories. After eating that, you definitely don’t need anything else for the rest of the day. 🥩Even though we arrived quite late, the waiter was super friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated. We left a generous tip! We were in a hurry to eat, so we didn’t take many photos. The kids ordered the Farmers Market Bowl, which was okay. It’s basically just roasted sweet potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, poached eggs, and avocado—nothing fancy. 🥩There was a bit of a mishap with the coffee; it didn’t have enough coffee grounds and was mostly water, so the taste was off. That’s it for today’s share! #Houston #HoustonDining #HoustonFood #Brunch #FriedRice #Dior #Crocs #StudentEats
