๐ A Train Journey to Chicago
Took the California Zephyr from Emeryville to Chicago โ through Nevada, Utah, and Colorado ๐๐. Three days and two nights spent gazing out the window and wandering through the train carsโฆ time flew by! One funny highlight: passing by a river where cheerful folks waved enthusiasticallyโฆ with their bare bottoms shining in the sun ๐๐๐! Chicago left me amazed โ clean, convenient, and almost all attractions are within walking distance or a short bus ride ๐ถโ๏ธ๐. Everyone I met was kind and welcoming. From the Magnificent Mile and architecture river tours ๐๏ธ๐ข, to Millennium Park, the Field Museum, Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, and Skydeck โ every spot felt like it was sharing a story, not just showing a view. Some moments that warmed my heart: ๐ฃ Wheelchair anglers fishing together on Lake Michigan ๐ท Everyone grooving to live jazz in a cozy bar ๐ฆ Kids laughing and playing in the Crown Fountain ๐ Firelights blooming over Navy Pier at night Chicago doesnโt just welcome you โ it makes you feel part of its life. #TrainTravel #Chicago #CityOfStories #USATravel #ChicagoDiaries #TravelByTrain #UrbanAdventure
