π A Train Journey to Chicago
Took the California Zephyr from Emeryville to Chicago β through Nevada, Utah, and Colorado ππ. Three days and two nights spent gazing out the window and wandering through the train carsβ¦ time flew by! One funny highlight: passing by a river where cheerful folks waved enthusiasticallyβ¦ with their bare bottoms shining in the sun πππ! Chicago left me amazed β clean, convenient, and almost all attractions are within walking distance or a short bus ride πΆβοΈπ. Everyone I met was kind and welcoming. From the Magnificent Mile and architecture river tours ποΈπ’, to Millennium Park, the Field Museum, Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, and Skydeck β every spot felt like it was sharing a story, not just showing a view. Some moments that warmed my heart: π£ Wheelchair anglers fishing together on Lake Michigan π· Everyone grooving to live jazz in a cozy bar π¦ Kids laughing and playing in the Crown Fountain π Firelights blooming over Navy Pier at night Chicago doesnβt just welcome you β it makes you feel part of its life. #TrainTravel #Chicago #CityOfStories #USATravel #ChicagoDiaries #TravelByTrain #UrbanAdventure
