A Wild & Happy Feasting Night at This Chicago Spot ๐ฅ๐ฎ
Last night, friends and I went all out at Costera Cocina Tulum in West Loop โ it felt like a celebration all over again. Mexican food? Once you try it, it's a whole new world! ๐ 850 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607 โ ๏ธ Note: 20% service charge is automatically added. ๐ธ Three Margaritas + a Rosรฉ โ Already winning just with the photos. โ๏ธ During the meal, servers kept walking around with โairplane shotsโ โ cheering and hyping up the vibe, almost like Hai Di Lao hot pot! We didnโt dare order the flight though โ looked strong. ๐ The Star: Mini Trompo Al Pastor We came for this pineapple! After photos, the server took it away to carve โ what we actually ate was chili-marinated pork with grilled pineapple, salsa, and handmade corn tortillas. Honestly? A bit salty, pork was just okay โ looks > taste. But the rest of the menu really delivered! ๐ฆ MVP: Lobster Pasta + Lobster Taco Creamy Langosta Spaghetti + Lobster Taco โ SO GOOD!!! The lobster pasta was creamy and smooth, generous with meat. The lobster taco was fresh, light, and not heavy at all. My friend has taste โ great pick! ๐ ๐ Mussels โ Super fresh with Spanish chorizo inside. Dipping bread in the broth? Irresistible. ๐ฅ Guacamole โ Classic with crispy chips. Couldn't stop munching. ๐ Tuna Tartare โ Huge portion! Tuna with lightly grilled avocado, special clear broth, sesame, and veggie chips โ fresh and refreshing. The server tried to clear the plate multiple times, but I kept guarding it ๐ ๐ฅ Caesar Salad โ Solid, and HUGE. ๐ฉ Dessert: Churros Two Ways โ Personally not a fan (cinnamon inside ๐), but the caramel milk ice cream was nice. ๐ด We all left stuffed but happy โ great food, great company, great night! #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #MexicanFood #WestLoop #FoodParty #FeastMode #GoodTimes
