A Wild & Happy Feasting Night at This Chicago Spot 🥂🌮

Last night, friends and I went all out at Costera Cocina Tulum in West Loop — it felt like a celebration all over again. Mexican food? Once you try it, it's a whole new world! 📍 850 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607 ⚠️ Note: 20% service charge is automatically added. 🍸 Three Margaritas + a Rosé – Already winning just with the photos. ✈️ During the meal, servers kept walking around with “airplane shots” — cheering and hyping up the vibe, almost like Hai Di Lao hot pot! We didn’t dare order the flight though — looked strong. 🍍 The Star: Mini Trompo Al Pastor We came for this pineapple! After photos, the server took it away to carve — what we actually ate was chili-marinated pork with grilled pineapple, salsa, and handmade corn tortillas. Honestly? A bit salty, pork was just okay — looks > taste. But the rest of the menu really delivered! 🦞 MVP: Lobster Pasta + Lobster Taco Creamy Langosta Spaghetti + Lobster Taco – SO GOOD!!! The lobster pasta was creamy and smooth, generous with meat. The lobster taco was fresh, light, and not heavy at all. My friend has taste — great pick! 👏 🐚 Mussels – Super fresh with Spanish chorizo inside. Dipping bread in the broth? Irresistible. 🥑 Guacamole – Classic with crispy chips. Couldn't stop munching. 🐟 Tuna Tartare – Huge portion! Tuna with lightly grilled avocado, special clear broth, sesame, and veggie chips — fresh and refreshing.
