A Wizard of Oz-Inspired Exhibit Is Coming to This Lesser-Known Chicago Art Museum
A new exhibit is **bringing the magical world of the *Wizard of Oz* to Chicago** in time for the holidays. The Driehaus Museum, Chicago’s beloved Gilded Age mansion-turned–art museum, presents *The Land of Oz: Beyond the Page*—a dazzling installation of memorabilia from the iconic 1939 film. Inside the Land of Oz at the Driehaus ------------------------------------- The carefully curated show provides an inside look at the production design, costuming, and writing that made the film possible. Guests will explore artifacts including a replica pair of Dorothy’s Ruby Red Slippers and the Cowardly Lion’s Medal of Courage. Additional objects of intrigue include a rare illustration of the Emerald City and an original copy of the *Wizard of Oz* book.
