Ada Street โ€” A Dinner by Candlelight ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

Ada Street was a favorite date spot before the pandemic. Tucked away in Bucktown near a light industrial area, parking is a breeze โ€” and now, weโ€™re finally back! ๐ŸŒฟ The patio uses artificial turf (green year-round!) and has a retractable roof, so you can enjoy it even on rainy evenings. ๐Ÿญ Exterior & entrance โ€” the restaurant is unmarked and moody, lit entirely by candles at night (no electric lights in the dining room). ๐Ÿฅƒ Old Fashioned โ€” on the sweeter side, paired well with smoked burrata. ๐Ÿท Grilled pork โ€œchar siuโ€ โ€” not traditional, but tasty: tender pork with lemongrass chili glaze, topped with cilantro and scallions. ๐Ÿ Gnocchi with truffle โ€” pillowy little dumplings coated in creamy cheese and earthy truffle โ€” rich and satisfying. ๐Ÿฉ Blueberry donuts โ€” freshly fried, warm, and generously powdered (very American-sweet). Strangely reminded me of Chinese fried pastries! This is a cozy, versatile spot โ€” great for girlsโ€™ nights, date nights, or small groups. They also have a private dining room, though it might feel a bit corporate for a casual gathering.
