Adorn — Japanese Breakfast at the Four Seasons
Recently noticed that Adorn offers a Japanese breakfast set, and my curiosity got the best of me — so I tried it! 🍱 The breakfast set looked like a simplified ichiju-sansai (one soup, three sides) at first glance, but it wasn’t quite traditional. It came with: ▪️ Pan-seared king salmon — crispy skin sealing in rich, buttery fat — so good mixed with rice! ▪️ Miso soup ▪️ Steamed white rice ▪️ Dashi-poached egg No pickles or other small sides, which felt a bit incomplete. Still, the salmon alone was worth it — perfectly cooked and wonderfully savory. 🍱 I also ordered tea on the side to balance the saltiness of the miso and dashi. 🍱 Dessert: bee pollen cream cake with fresh milk ice cream — subtly sweet with a sunflower seed accent and a drizzle of honey. Adorn’s pastry team never disappoints. 🍯🍰 Since it’s inside the Four Seasons, service is polished and personal — they even address you by last name. Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, or dinner — Adorn delivers quality every time.
