Alaska Food Guide | Anchorage Edition ๐ฝ๏ธ๐๏ธ
๐ Wild Scoops Their waffle cones + toasted marshmallow topping are incredible! ๐ฆ๐ฅ The only downside โ my boyfriend and I arenโt big fans of cinnamon, and their regular cones are cinnamon-flavored. When I asked for a plain cone without cinnamon, they said it couldnโt be paired with the toasted marshmallow ๐โฆ But the staff were super sweet and even gave our dog a little cup of whipped cream! ๐ถ๐ ๐ Jimmy's Asian Food Restaurant Itโs rare to find such authentic Chinese food in the US โ felt like home! ๐ฅข๐ญ Must-tries: Mala Xiang Guo (spicy stir-fry pot) and Cumin Lamb. Their shredded potato stir-fry is also a crowd favorite โ perfect with rice! ๐ฅ ๐ Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria Their pizza is seriously delicious! ๐ We took one on a road trip โ enjoyed it with gorgeous views. A super popular spot in Anchorage! ๐ Wonjo Korean Cuisine Great Korean food! We ordered tofu soup, grilled short ribs, and bibimbap in a stone pot. They served 15 different side dishes โ each one was tasty! ๐ฅฌ๐ ๐ Glacier Brewhouse A classic American seafood and steakhouse. We tried a seasonal fish dish, a shrimp appetizer, bread, and a surf & turf skewer (forgot the name lol ๐). Everything was flavorful! Be prepared to wait in line โ itโs busy! ๐ฆ๐ฅฉ ๐ Snow City Cafe A super popular brunch spot! ๐ณ๐ง Highly recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp in advance โ ๏ธ. We ordered fruit pancakes and eggs Benedict with bacon โ but the real star was their mocha! We tried different versions, and all were amazing! โ๐ ๐ Pho Lotus Tried Pad Krapao (basil fried rice with a fried egg) for the first time โ so good! Their pho is also pretty authentic. ๐ณ๐ ๐ Yakishabu Sushi House On our first day in Anchorage, it was freezing โ we craved something warm! โ๏ธ Found this place on Google Maps offering Japanese hot pot. We had sukiyaki โ it was okay, but the price didnโt quite match the portion. Not the best value. ๐ฒ๐ธ #Alaska #AlaskaTravel #EatLikeALocal #FoodAndTravel #AnchorageEats #TravelFoodDiary ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ป
