You HAVE to include whale watching in Monterey on your Highway 1 road trip!! π Took the 9:00 AM tour in the fall β bring a windproof jacket! The small boat had around 20 people β not too crowded, great experience ~ π€© Just 30 minutes after departure, we encountered a whole whale group!! They swam and danced around the boat for over 2 hours π We were lucky enough to capture a family of four feeding together ππ Hundreds of sea lions π¦ and seabirds π¦ circled and cried around β it was magical!
