You HAVE to include whale watching in Monterey on your Highway 1 road trip!! ๐Ÿ‹ Took the 9:00 AM tour in the fall โ€” bring a windproof jacket! The small boat had around 20 people โ€” not too crowded, great experience ~ ๐Ÿคฉ Just 30 minutes after departure, we encountered a whole whale group!! They swam and danced around the boat for over 2 hours ๐Ÿ’™ We were lucky enough to capture a family of four feeding together ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’ž Hundreds of sea lions ๐Ÿฆญ and seabirds ๐Ÿฆ circled and cried around โ€” it was magical!
