Conveniently located just a short walk from my hotel, Ramen-San made for the perfect spot for a delicious and easy meal. I arrived just as their Lucky Hour was kicking off (Monday to Friday, 3β6 PM ππ°) β and the vibe was already buzzing! The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with a killer playlist of 1995β2010 hip-hop classics setting the mood. π§π₯ I took a seat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender, who offered some spot-on recommendations. Hereβs what I tried from the Lucky Hour menu: Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) π β Crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously satisfying! Penicillin Cocktail π₯ β A whiskey-based drink that was smooth, balanced, and not too strong β with just the right touch of honey and lemon. Pork Belly Bun ππ₯― β Tender, flavorful, and topped with a spicy mayo that totally made it! Since it was my birthday π₯³, I decided to step out of my comfort zone β and Iβm so glad I did! The Penicillin was a revelation, right up there with my usual favorite, the Beeβs Knees. The food came out quickly, hot and clearly made with care. But the real surprise? The bartender gifted me a complimentary dessert β warm, sugary donuts π© with an irresistible dipping sauce. I didnβt stop till every last bit was gone!
