Anchorage Restaurant Recommendations π½οΈποΈ
Hereβs my personal ranking of must-try spots in Anchorage: π₯ 1. Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria πππππ π΅ ~$35 per person A top 3 pizza joint in the U.S. β no wonder itβs always packed, even on weekdays! π You can choose different sizes and even mix two flavors. We ordered a medium half-&-half: Call of the Wild & Brewhouse Favorite, plus Spicy Thai Chicken wings and Moose Pie β a giant chocolate mousse ice cream dessert that totally hit the spot! π«π¦ π₯ 2. Glacier Brewhouse πππππ π΅ ~$100 per person You canβt visit Alaska without trying king crab legs! π¦ Though I heard most are processed in Seattle π β¦ This popular brewpub even sells merch at the entrance! We had the Alder Wood Grilled Flat Iron Steak and Bering Sea King Crab Legs β the side fries were surprisingly amazing! Donβt forget to pair your meal with their local beer π». π₯ 3. WONJO Korean Cuisine ππππ π΅ ~$35 per person Run by an adorable and energetic Korean auntie who even speaks some Chinese! π₯° The banchan (side dishes) are insane β 15 different ones! π€― Highly recommend the grilled fish (fresh and crispy), but skip the fish cake soup (a bit too fishy). 4οΈβ£ Alaska Railroad ππππ π΅ ~$25 per person Yes, this is train food! π The Alaska Railroad serves basic breakfast, lunch, and dinner β options are limited (think salads, pasta, etc.). Due to limited staff, meals are served in batches. Try the reindeer meat for something unique! π¦ And the βPola Drinkβ is basically Sprite + blue dye β pure Insta-bait ππΈ. #StudyInUSA #AlaskaTravel #AlaskaFood #AnchorageEats #FoodieRecommendations π΄βοΈ
