Try the Airport Loop Trail for a 360° experience!) 🥾 Main Hiking Trails: 🧡 Cathedral Rock Trail 🧡 Devil’s Bridge Trail 🧡 Subway Cave 🟦 1. Blue McDonald’s 📍 Navigation: 2380 AZ-89A, Sedona 🅿️ Parking: Lots near McDonald’s—check signs for vehicle restrictions. ⛪ 2. Chapel of the Holy Cross 📍 Navigation: Search directly 🅿️ Parking: Drive all the way in—multiple parking areas available. 🌄 3. Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout 📍 Navigation: Search directly 🅿️ Parking: On the left side of the road—$3 all day (free on weekends, but still pay via machine with card or $1 cash). The viewing platform faces west 🌅—great for sunset! For the best views, walk part of the Airport Loop Trail. 🏔️ 4. Cathedral Rock Trail 📍 Navigation: Thu–Sat: Shuttle required. Park at North SR 179 Park & Ride (1294 SR 179). Shuttles are free and run every 15 mins. Last shuttle up: 4:30 PM; last return: 5:12 PM. Other days: Drive directly to Cathedral Rock Trail Parking. 🥾 Trail notes: Beginner-friendly except the final steep section. Wear proper shoes! Total time: ~2 hours with photos. 🌉 5. Devil’s Bridge Trail 📍 Navigation: 🅿️ Dry Creek Vista Trailhead (adds 2 flat miles—skip if possible) 🅿️ Mescal Trailhead (saves 2 miles—recommended! The fun part begins at the climb to the bridge.) 📸 Great photo spots throughout! Be prepared to wait in line for bridge photos. ⏱️ Took me ~4 hours (starting from Dry Creek due to a marathon).
