We stopped at McDonald’s for a quick bite on our way out of town and it sucked. We asked for no pickles on the chicken sandwich my boyfriend ordered and the label on the sandwich bag said no pickles, but it was almost ironic or like they were trying to be funny with how many extra pickles his actual sandwich did have. He couldn’t even eat it since it was just soaked with pickle juice and taste. It was also way too saucy and the sauce had spilled within the bag soaking the bread making it inedible. I got some nuggets and they were cold and tasted old even though it was 11am and breakfast had just ended so the food should have felt fresher. Gave me the feeling of old reheated food of the night before. The fries were also cold and soggy even though once again, breakfast had just ended and we figured they would be freshly made and new. A complete waste of money. I get people stop to take a picture of the blue arch but other than that, don’t bother actually stopping. The food is just terrible. The service was also bad. Our drive thru person was very short with us and sounded exasperated when we asked for no pickles even though there was no one in line behind us. When the car that was in front originally pulled up to order, we heard her say that they no longer had breakfast and finished serving that at 10:45 am. When the driver said something like oh no way really? The drive thru person said “yes we no longer have it, do you plan to order anything else?” But in a very rude and short way. The driver seem to take a second and just took off. Should have been our first red flag that the staff was in a bad mood and that the food wouldn’t be at least decent. Would not come back here it was just an all bad experience all the way through. Terrible service and disgusting food. We don’t expect high quality from McDonald’s but at least decent consistency and we ended up through our food away after paying $25+. A complete waste of money that left us...
Read moreWent through drive thru and told young lady that we wanted 2 large fries and 6 piece nugget. We then said make that 6 piece a combo. She said it didn't come as a combo, that the smallest was 10 piece for combos. So we told her ok, we will take the 10 piece combo. When we got food it was a 6 piece no combo. We told the Mexican guy that gave it to us it was supposed to be a 10 piece combo. He says well this is what the order says and we try explaining and he wouldn't even listen just argued. Finally he went and got the chick who took order and she said she didn't hear us when we said we will take the 10 piece combo instead which is bull because she's the one that made the suggestion. Either way the Mexican guy ( I assume manager or shift leader ) ended up giving us 4 extra nuggets and a small drink on top of the order we already paid for. We said we still need one more fry for the combo and he was like I already gave you the free nuggets and drink. From which we appreciate but we offered to pay difference, besides the combos come with fries. Apart from all that. How is it our fault for just asking for the correct order??? . I myself am a manager and would never talk to my customers the way he talked to us and acted like we were just being a nuisance. And maybe we were a nuisance but if they would of just got it right at least the second time this could of all been avoided.. why not just make it right? Why argue with the customer when they were calmly just trying to tell you their correct order??? It's not right and if that's how customers get treated by management at that location, I would not recommend that place at all, I'd say go to the cottonwood location where they're much friendlier. Just saying. It's always a problem when going to...
Read moreI’ve read that McDs here can’t use the Golden Arches due to city’s concern of uniformity. Instead it has a teal or some kind of green shade for its logos. Of course I had to check it out myself.
What’s there to say other than it’s a McDonald’s. We got some breakfast items to take back to our hotel. The food was fine FOR a McD, except my hash brown was either left in the fryer way too long (not quite possible since they generally use a loud buzzer to let its employees know it’s time) or just left on the stand too long. Then again, I did notice several things were broken at this McD, such as one of the automated ordering machines and as well as the display unit that shows how far they are along on your orders. And the creamer bin was empty.
The McGriddle and the McMuffins were no better or worse than other McDs as it’s not fair to compare McD’s food with any other establishment than another McD or chain fast food places. The coffee, on the other hand, was excellent. Yes, I do compare McD’s coffee with Starbucks, and hands down,...
